Hi,

I have a Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz and i was wondering what fan would be most suitable for this CPU. The main reason is because a lot of noise is given off from the computer and doesn't matter on what it is doing i.e using it or just turned on doing nothing. It has to be compatible to 775 socket.


The price doesn't matter as fans are quite cheap anyway.
Amazon.co.uk or ebay.co.uk would be preferred place to purchase the fan.

Yes, there are so many to choose from and i don't know which fan is the best to cool down the cpu or reduce noise pollution the best.

The best fan will be the one you choose based upon the cooling and noise factors (in the specs) of the device and your budget.

you could get a liquid cooling system

you could get AKASA AK-961 COOL BLUE: TRIPLE HEATPIPE COOLER i have read about it and it is suposed to be as quit as a whisper(30 decibels) and good at cooling the cpu i dont have one myself but i am going to get one
