my motherboard uses DDR 333 Ram Memory. THe gfx card that i want to use is DDR2 does this matter? my mobo still uses pcie 16x but i never thought about whether or not this matters/

No it does not matter.

Conversely you can run a DDR3 GPU on DDR2 motherboards.
