Well the Nvidia site should have the most recent version.
It is important to keep the most recent on these cards.
Also did you find your BIOS?
That cover plate should be part of the case.
There should be a face plate with a knock out for the 3.5".
Do you see this? If not I will go back and look at the case.
Here is what I see...BIOS 2.053.B2
7B1N1P03 ..make sense?
You see that on the POST screen as the computer starts?
P03 does not make sense. As noted the current is P32. When I got mine a year ago it shipped with P23
Unless you meant P30?
Yea, it don't make sense I don't see any other P beside that one. Should I just update with the newest BIOS. It won't hurt right?
On hindsight I might be confused as to the board you got. Is this it:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813188024
If so that is a newer version of mine.
If the above is correct then so are you.
You have the latest BIOS:
Bios Version : P03
BIOS Date : 1/16/2008
Bios File : NF78_P03.bin (FTP / HTTP)
Notes : The following was updated in release P03:
Updated Yorkfield CPU microcode
Improved stability for memory above 800MHz
Additional support for future graphics cards
As to the cover plates this is my case just for example:
You see on the 5.25" plates an inner rectangle that is 3.5".
These inner rectangles are removable.
Does your case have such an option?
Newegg has these two things:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811993007
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811999050
I have a few left over from my case but they are silver. Will send if you want. PM me if so.
