Go to Newegg and look around.

They have filters on your left menu to sort through price ranges and different specs.

    Just for example:

    CPU $109.99

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116196

(out of stock)(keep checking or look to another source)

    RAM $54.99

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145167

    Motherboard $109.99

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813186093

    Graphics card $109.99

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130297

    Total = $384.96

    (some rebates in there too).

Anyway look about for yourself. There is a lot to choose from.

Think this Motherboard would work well?

Sure you can. I was going to a low/mid price range.

The important thing is to get the best match of all the parts.

As you go to a higher end CPU then you might want a higher end mobo etc.

Setting a budget is probably the best bet.

I'd say the breakdown would be something like:

    CPU

    MoBo

    RAM

    GPU

Each of these can run from $50 (cheap) to $250 (very good) & beyond (very high end).

If you went to a dual core I would upgrade the RAM to match the BUS speed.

Also need to verify that the motherboard will handle it.

Just a rough guess is a dual or quad core system would go to @ $500.

    Very nice motherboard.

Again you are going into a high mid-range system now.

$230 for a motherboard could almost be considered "high end".

Depends on what you want to spend but yes that is a nice board and a nice CPU.

You are also getting to the point where you might need a new Power Supply to handle this.

    Add $50
