According to this:

Your notebook is the same as this:

I am not sure if it is only these three screws but that appears to be implied:

Hi
thanks for your response jephree.
i found that info too so tried it and the drive wouldnt come out. i was wondering how hard i should pull, ie its plugged in.
i was expecting it to just come out.
i think i will turn this off and have another go. maybe try pulling a bit harder, what dya reckon?
thanks
The rear end should plug into a socket inside.
Although there is no mention of removing the drive it is curious that they circled those three screws.
Give it a bit of a wiggle and tug.
thanks again jephree
i gave it a little tug and it came out.
all i had to do now was transfer over 3 brackets to hold it for those 3 screws that were circled.
im now wondering if it would be possible to swap over the draw covers as the new one is a bit smaller. i shall try that after some shut eye.
thanks m8
couldn't resist it.
it just pulls off.
old one fits perfectly
im a happy bunny.
will try and burn something tomorrow
