I have a Packard Bell Easy One Silver 3100 Laptop with a dead HD. usually, I don't have too much trouble opening up laptops to change out the HD, but I've removed every screw visible on the base of this one and I'm still stumped.

I'm guessing that it is hiding behind the keyboard, since it is not visible from the underside with the panel over the CPU and cooler removed, but having got the keyboard off, there is a blank Aluminum panel that seems heavily integrated with the plastic case.

Anyone ever opened up one of these?
