So you already built this or are you considering these parts?
I'd like to see the specific motherboard.
You are going to run two 8600's in SLI?
If so you might reconsider the case and go Full Tower for ease on installation and air flow. You could also then consider a 850W PSU.
Also I would go with at least one pair of 1GB Dual Chanel RAM: 2GB total.

considering these parts and sorry i meant x2 for the RAM so i will have 2GB, yeah going to run 2 in SLI
erm i will get a link to the motherboard..

Just on a personal note I prefer Intel to AMD but that being said I see nothing wrong with your setup.
I'd say it was a solid mid range gaming setup.
I'd still go with a full tower for better air flow and ease of use and expansion.
Those SLI cards are going to back right up to the rear of your SATA drives in a mid tower.
As to price I am in the US so don't know how to judge.

k , thanks

sounds like a good setup. I have always been an intel fan in the past, but i recently purchased a laptop with an AMD processor and loved it so much I gave AMD a try when I made my gaming system. I am currently using an AMD 6000+ athlon, Love it to death, on a gigabyte GA-M61P-S3 motherboard with 2 GB of patriot DD2 ram. I love it, Gigabyte makes great boards and that processor runs fast. i personally am an ATI fan, but nvidia makes good cards as well. bigger case cant hurt, and id go with pc6400 ram, you can get it cheap if you know where to shop, and if your using SLI the more power you can get from a power supply the better. im only using a 600 watt power supply, but im not using dual video cards.
