Guys, need help to resolve the problem I'm having.
My system is a Dell Inspiron ME051, 1.70GHz processor with 512MB RAM. What I noticed is that the processor is running at 589MHz instead of 1.70GHz.

Could anyone help me fix this problem? It's being terrifying working at this low speed in this mordern age.

Is this something new that you've noticed or ... ?

What is the source of your speed monitor? Where are you seeing this?

Have you tried CPU_Z?
