Building a New PC Help Needed

Hello all, I am running into trouble building a new PC and looking for some help.

To start it off it is my girlfriends PC and neither of us have built a computer completely, weve done part changes before so we are not "that" oblivious. Firstly I will start off with the part list.

    Video: EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800GTS 500MHZ 640MB 1.6GHZ GDDR3 Dual DVI-I HDTV Out HDCP DIRECTX10 Video Card
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Dual Core Processor LGA775 Conroe 2.40GHZ 1066FSB 4MB Retail
    MoBo: DFI LANParty UT ICFX3200-T2R/G RD600 XPRESS3200 LGA775 Conroe DDR2 3PCI-E16 SATA2 1394 Motherboard
    RAM: Corsair 6400 1GB (two)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA 3GB/S 7200RPM 16MB Cache Hard Drive 5YR MFR Warranty
Power supply: 600W ultra power supply (I dont have the exact link to this one)
    Case: Basic ATX case

Now we assembled the inside components and then booted the computer, all the fans turned on (the cpu, video card, and back extra fan) the lights on the case turned on and the light on the mobo turned on. But there would be no video at all on the monitor (yes the monitor cable was plugged in and the monitor was on). We figured it might be a video issue so we tried a different PCI E slot for the card, same problem. We then tried switching it with a PCI E card we knew worked, still nothing. Another odd thing is the internal speaker on the MOBO was not beeping at all, so we switched it with a speaker we knew worked and then booted it, and it still wouldnt beep (we removed the ram for this test since it should beep if no ram is present I think?). I have been doing research online about the issue and have been having a hard time coming up with what could be wrong. So far I think the MOBO could be fried or the processor could be? Any insight at all would be greatly appreciated.

    Is this the board?

A single PCI_E should be in the top slot. If it has an independent power connection be sure to connect direct to the PSU. Is the PSU SLI and Core 2 ready?

Is the RAM installed in alternating slots?

Does the monitor turn on briefly then show: No Signal Input?

You are correct that the speaker is unusual. Is it an on-board speaker or a case speaker? Yes it should BEEP constantly if you boot without RAM.

I see a digital BIOS readout on the lower left corner of the board. Do you get any reading here?

    Thank you for the reply!

    Yes, that is the board.

Yes, the PCI-E connector from the PSU was connected to the graphics card. I'm not sure if the PSU is Core 2 ready, I honestly don't remember, but I'll check when I'm home.

The RAM was installed in alternating slots, but I also tried it with just one stick installed, to no avail.

The monitor shows "no signal input" until i connect it to the graphics card. Then it just goes blank and the light on it blinks.

I believe it is a case speaker (its plugged into the board via the speaker switch).

No, I looked at that too, and there is nothing on the BIOS readout. It doesn't light up or anything.

I will be giving my RAM and CPU to a friend today to test on his PC so at least i can rule them out as the problem.
