i bought a barebone and the mount that i put the CPU cooling device on was not included feel really dumb for not checking before hand.

anyone know a place i can buy one?

The heatsink/fan is usually included in the CPU package. Was it not?

The only "mount" on the motherboard is the holes to accept the heatsink/fan assembly. The heatsink/fan assembly is determined by the type of CPU used on the board.

If your CPU came without a heatsink/fan assembly you need to know your socket type and then purchase an equivalent type heatsink/fan. Any computer store would have a wide selection.
