And could you also confirm whether you're looking to buy a new PC (which is what your post says) or a couple of parts that you don't already have?

meaning you plan to assemble a totally new computer or upgrade ur Compaq Presario?

    your Compaq Presario model?

click on my signature's Crucial.com and run the Crucial System Scanner. it'll recommend the RAM you might need.

www.tigerdirect.ca seems to be a popular source of PC parts. so you can check that site for parts.

but since i'm not frm CA it's hard for me to find really good and cheap shops/sites. i'll try and see if i can find better ones or not tho.

what do you want the computer for? simple websurfing and such? if so an upgrade would be cheap and it'll last quite long.

however if you're a gamer and such, i would recommend building a new PC, which would cost quite an amount if you want it to last at least 2 years or more.
