Still having issues with my build

So, I got a new motherboard, processor, RAM, and Video Card.

    MB: http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?m...3&l2=11&l3=473

    Processor:

    RAM:

    Video Card:

I am still having a problem however. When it is powered up, I get a beep code of one long and three short. This is better than the previous problems that have been happening.

    See:

So, is there any hope for me?

Thanks again for all the help. You guys have been great!

    1 Long, 3 Short Beeps

You've probably just added memory to the motherboard since this is a conventional or extended memory failure.

Generally this is caused by a memory chip that is not seated properly.

    Reseat the memory chips.

OK, tried to reseat the memory, tried to put it in all four slots, and every time it boots, same beep code. I am going to take it to work in the morning to have the memory tested.

Thanks for all the help, jephree.

Testing the stick will be good. Also to verify that it is compatible with the motherboard.

Sorry I haven't looked at your links although thanks for posting them! That makes it much easier to help.

If the RAM tests OK my next thought is incompatibility and we can review the specs if that is the case.

Thanks for the thanks. We like to try and help: at least.

Memory tested good. Gonna try to get the Video card tested in another system. Hopefully this will let me know if the video is bad.
