are you sure the poer cord is plugged in to the monitor? It sounds simple but if all else fails, then always try the most outrageous of ideas....

I still have the same problem since mid Feb. It just wont boot.
I have tested the video card in another PC and it works, I put another PCI-E card into this new one and it didn't start.
It does make a few "beeping" noises so I think it may the memory, but I am unsure. I do not have another DDR2 computer to test the memory on. The beeping noise is the same with or WITHOUT the memory.
I have an
AMD X2 4600
ECS NFORCE4M-A
Kingston 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667
ATI x1600 Pro PCI-E
Please advise what could be the problem, I am thinking it could be a memory compatibility issue, but I am not sure.

If the beeps are the same with and without RAM I would suspect the RAM itself or slots or compatibility.
Try one stick only. Try in each slot. If the same beeps continue try new RAM and verify the compatibility. The motherboard manual should list compatible RAM.
It tried numberous combos and nothing worked. It may be compatibility issues. The mobo doesn't list much of ANYTHING, I assumed they are too lazy to test all of them. What intrigued me was that the mobo supports DDR2 800, but lists nothing compatible at that speed.
The mobo was compatible with DDR533 Kingston 512mb, while I used DDR667 Kingston 1gb and no dice. I will never buy ECS again. I'll stick with more reliable brands.
i think it may be that your mobo does not support high density ram. i had this problem before,
all of your symptons ring alarm bells in my past history with ram.
i replace my ram with low density and all was ok.
just a thought............
