Motherboard:

Just a brief glance and I hope others will look at your list as well.
I would only change two things:
1) Get a larger PSU: 500-750Watt would be nice.
In other words buy a case without a power supply and add your own. Enermax makes awesome PSU's.

2) Get a larger HDD and perhaps two if you can afford it. You can probably find larger drives for the same if not even less money. I'm sure you could get a 160GB for the same price.
All that being said what is your budget and what do you want the computer to do?

Thanks for the advice. I still have alot of good parts in this computer I have a 80 gig harddrive I'm going to use ,so I'll have 2 80gigr's. and rosewill 450watt psu although I still don't know if that's the root of my problems with this one.If not good to have an extra. I have a geforce 6800 agp card that I don't know what I'm going to do with. I have about 900.00 to spend, and mainly play games like BF2, Command and conq. ,Bf2142, and lotr bfme2(the game that started all my problems). What do u think about that mainboard? I wanted to stick with ASUS even with all these problems I'm having now. My board is going on 5yrs and I have no complaints till now. What I'm looking at is a definite upgrade.

Do you want an AMD board rather than Intel?
The RAM on that board is more limited than similar boards with 240 pin DDR 2 800 MHz possible at the same price.

This also has a faster FSB: 1000
There is only one IDE port (2 devices) but 6 SATA ports. Unless you go to SATA drives this would only give you one DVD and one HDD.
Also I would go with a full tower rather than mid. If you don't mind the size they are so much easier to work in and upgrade especially to the high end PCI_E cards.

To add on what Jephree said- your most concern should be your PSU first. You need a 550W+ PSU. With todays demands, yes its that simple.
I can tell you a list of best-middle class PSU's if you want to know.
If your PSU is not good, you'll never get decent performance and you'll just damage your system and cut components life short.
A Rosewill 450W will normally output 350W at peak load and 300W continuous providing that it has good amps on the +12V, high efficiency, and APFC.
I would sincerely advise you to wait. Everything is going to drop in prices in start of April-May when all the new technologies are releasing. There is a host of new CPU's releasing, HDDs, screens, better mobos, RAM, HSFs, PSUs, new sockets and state-of-the-art GPUs. What you put together now, especially a socket 939 will kind of be what others will be throwing out then and many already have when X2 was released. The rpice drops are in $100s then with DDR3 and AMD making some Quad Core CPUs that are better than the Intel Kentsfield line.

That all looks good but what about the Power Supply?
-
I already had to buy one to see if it was the problem with this one, it wasn't. I got a thermaltake 500w pure power 2.0. I think my mobo is shot or shooting as I'm still using it, still shutdown when it has to work hard.......IT'S LAZY
-
Looks good then.
Just a personal preference, although that CoolMaster case looks really cool, I would go with a full tower if you have the room.
They are so much easier to work in and expand with. Cooler too as regards temperature.

Thanx Jephree I've been doing alot of research and I think I'm going to stick with amd thats a tough decision. Yeah I have enough money to get a better case I'd like to get something with some nice lights, do u have any prefrences?
