Raid 0 setup

Raid 0 setup
I'm new to PC building, so my knowledge right now is very limited. However, I would like to have a raid 0 setup on my next build. What hardware and/or software do i need to get? I know I need 2 hard drives, though. Any help would be much appreciated. I am looking at a DFI LANPARTY UT NF590 SLI-M2R/G Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard for my next build, if i makes a difference with hardware.

RAID is typically a hardware solution (although it can be software-based but this isn't as good) and most people would buy a dedicated RAID controller card for a PCI or PCI-X slot. However, that motherboard that you are looking at has RAID support on-board. Therefore, you don't have to buy anything for it. Read the manual when you get it and that will describe whether you'll see a 'Press this button for RAID setup' option during the boot sequence or whether you have to go into the BIOS to configure it. Either way, it will be pretty easy
