first off, if you want them to perform faster i would first upgrade the RAM (mainly in the 2nd PC)

here is an overclocking guide http://tomshardware.co.uk/1997/01/02...locking_guide/

if these computers are manufactured computeres like dell emachines or any othe name brand pc then you cant overclock although i am almost certain that you can given the manufactures of the boards increasing your ram to 1 gig would show you a significant boost in performance particularly for the 2nd pc and try to get higher running memory like pc3200, even though it will underclock it self to run with the boards default fsb/bus speed, you will be able to overclock the board to its max since the memory is designed to run at 200mhz, it will run at 133 by the boards default

    Thanks.

Well yes, after posting, I've experimented and realized much more of what was forgotten. I've built another PC now, its a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ 2MB Socket 939, 2GB PC4000 DDR 500MHZ. So it wouldn't make much difference now anyway as I have three PC's at home in the UK, and 4 scattered elsewhere in the offices and flats.

This is the fastest of them all though.

    Thanks.
