Disclaimer: This was the closest thread i could find.

    Hello,

i'm getting a new computer and im just wondering what is the best deal i can get. I am an AU resident, and have found the following deals from http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/

USAGE FOR COMPUTER: I will be using the computer to listen (and download) music, playing World Of Warcraft (primary use) www.worldofwarcraft.com, playing other stuff, but yeh mostly for WoW. Im not rich or anything, but dads given me a $1000budget, probably $1200 at the most and i could push to 1300. "My basic recommendations:
Comp #1 is the best. Swap out the X1600 for a 7600 GT.
Ditch the no-name PSU and put in one from Antec, Thermaltake, or other well known manufacturer. It'll be more expensive, but you can save money by getting a less powerful one. A minimum 350 to 400 W should do; Core 2s and Geforce 7600s draw very little power.
I'll refrain from making more suggestions based on manufacturer preference, but as far as PSUs go, I've seen too many systems fried by bad power supplies to put much trust in unknown brands.
Let's see, your case seems to only have 1 fan; you tend to want 2 for ideal air flow. Cooling won't be a huge problem for you, since both the Core 2s and 7600 GT run cool.
    Everything else looks OK... "

"first of all, i wouldn't swap out the x1600 for the 7600gt...ATI have much better image quality then nVidia and both those video cards are almost identicle in performance.
definatly get a name brand PSU - Enermax/Silverstone/ThermalTake are my highly recommended PSU's..i'd get a 450watt minimum - future upgrades in mind, and as the pc gets older, the psu will get weaker.

2nd fan is a good idea for airflow."
