if i had 2 spare bays i would get that bottom one...
i was thinking about getting the top one but i don't know how loud it would be and it only has 3 volume settings (high/medium/low) this wouldnt bother me if it was quite loud..

i then thaught of making my own because i have an LM380 amplifyer IC and other components to make a 2-4W amplifier, clear plastic, black spraypaint and quite a few speakers... i like the look of the "Dancing Meters and Shining LEDs" on the Thermal Take speaker (1st link)

i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for making my own? or owns one of the above?

yeah... i dont have much luck with speakers/amplifyers though.... i end up breaking them.. one amp i made with the LM380 chip worked fine, i used a different power source (not mains lol) and 2 capacitors exploded, one of them in my face!!!!! (it didnt smell nice)
