Have Just Built A New Pc.

I Have Checked Both Drives In My Second Pc And They Work . When I Try In My New Pc They Do Not Show Under Device Manager Or On The Bios.

They Are Powered As The Door Opens On Both.

I Have Checked The Cables And Tried The Jumpers In Different Combinations But Still No Luck.

Please Help

are the both enabled in the bios? and do the post? also how are you setting the cables into the motherboard? should be master = DvD RW slave = CD RW..... what cables are you using if its ide express check motherboard and disc drive compatability my freind has had this problem hope this helps

Both Are Not Showing In The Bios. Sorry New To This Game What Do You Mean By Do The Post.
Both Drives Are Compatable With The Motherboard And Are Set As You Said. I Have Tried Every Config Going With The Jumper Terminals On The Back.

Any More Ideas.

ok ok this has happened before can you PLEASE PLEASE CHECK YOUR IDE cable i know it sounds silly but its a known error for some ide cables to not work this has happened to me numerous times over the years...hope this helps
