Hello. I have afew questions if you can help me out with..

I just recived my Case, PSU, Motherboard. I have installed the Motherboard (Touching the Case befor installing) would this have discharged any static from me?
Also would it be safe to test the PSU and Motherboard without any Processor installed?

Here is a good article on ESD: ESD - What can I do to avoid damage but the basic of being in contact with the metal case is basic grounding.

As to testing without the CPU this should not cause any damage but nothing is going to happen with the exception of showing that you do have power to the board.
