I have graphics card (MSI),NVIDIA GF6 (PCI-E), NX6800GT-T2D256E

I need your view about upgrading this card. Should I buy NX7900GTX-T2D512E card or wait for six month till Windows Vista is launched?

If you are looking to Vista as a major upgrade then I would wait for any hardware upgrades.

In any 6 month period hardware will be noticeably advanced.

As to over-clocking the GPU I am not sure if you can. If you can the settings are in your BIOS. Overclocking the CPU is usually available.

What is the make and model of the motherboard?

Thanks for your reply. I have (MSI) P4N Diamond motherboard. I recently bought Corsair 800MHZ twin 2x 2GB memory modules. If possible tell me values for overclocking

Unfortunately I cannot find an online manual.

Do you have a copy of the MSI manual?

If so it should show you how to enter the BIOS settings. (often pressing the delete key right after power on). In the BIOS settings there should be chip-set settings or FSB or CPU settings as to Over-clocking.

You didn’t found the motherboard manual in the software form because the quick user guide or manual is in printed form that came with motherboard. Kindly tell me up to what level I can set the values at BIOS settings menu that is suitable for my hardware components i.e.
