    Sorry for the delayed response.

As you are going high end on the CPU and graphics card I would question your choice of both the RAM and the DVD/CD drive.

Especially the RAM: I would go with a higher end manufacturer and get 1gig sticks.

Other than that it looks pretty good.

If I were doing it I would go with liquid cooling as well. That processor will generate some heat!

I havent looked at liquid cooling much. It would probably put me way over budget tho How much would a whole liquid setup cost?

Also, what ram would you recommend instead? Most of the ram im finding with slightly slower times ends up in the 200+ range

I use the Thermaltake BigWater SE 12cm Liquid Cooling System. You can find these from $99 US. The radiator would replace your rear 120mm fan.

    http://www.thermaltake.com/watercool...l-w0005-01.htm

Just a thought. I chose this because my average room temperature is about 80F and my Prescott 3.2 hyperthreaded was idling @ 125F with the intel heatsink & fan. With the Thermaltake I brought it down to an average of 90F. This also opens the way to over-clocking if you would want to.

Just a quick search of RAM finds this from Corsair:

    CORSAIR ValueSelect 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Unbuffered DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) System Memory

I have never heard of PQI before

    http://www.pqi.com.tw/Product.asp?cate1=4

but Corsair is a major manufacturer. I just think with 4 slots offering 4G you shouldn't limit the future with 512 sticks.

Also a cheap DVD/CD is something that might not last long.

Sorry about the delayed response, ive been busy

Anyway, ive decided im going to wait on the cooling until after i have the pc up and running so i can see what parts need better cooling, if any.

I think i will get different ram however, and id get corsair, but i dont like the fact that they dont publish their memory timings

That Corsair price at NewEgg is very good!

Perhaps you will find more details here:

Next to Corsair I would recommend Crucial although I don't see any similar prices:

I found the memory timings (http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair...h_results.html):

    Latency : 5-5-5-15 (JEDEC)

I kind of suspected their timings would be lower since they werent posted.

I did find 2 from Crucial that looked real good

Its too bad they're sold out. Maybe ill get them from somewhere else, or just keep looking :/

Also looks good, but probably from another unknown company (i dont really know the big ram companies)
