If you are going to build a new computer from scratch you can use that graphics card.

There is no way to upgrade your current computer.

    YUJ,

    Return your card to Maplins.

Then take time, set a budget, be that £600 or £3000, consider build or buy.

Then think about what you want from your machine working within your budget.

With selfbuild start with your case/psu, then your 939 motherboard and your CPUs.

If you need advise on a good gaming board ask on this forum but be in a position to act, get your budget together.

If you need advise from this forum great! but listen and consider to what your being told.

People like Jephree, Dan, Nigel have vast exsperiance and won't intentionaly advise you wrongly, listen to them they do know what their talking about.

Finaly as Jephree has tried to tell you in so many ways, you can not upgrade your old Dell PC.

Don't get carried away do not spend a vast fortune on your new gaming machine unless money is no object, what ever you buy will be old hat within six months and more or less past upgrading within four years.

I'll give it a go. What are you starting with? Do I have to read all the previous posts?! If we don't have to refer back to the previous posts, you would be better off starting a new thread. People on forums will always assume that a very long thread is the same conversation going on and on and getting very complicated. We won't generally get involved if we think that someone is already "deep in the guts" of an ongoing problem. A new thread will get more people looking at it and giving their opinion.

Anyway, if the answer is that you aren't starting with anything and you need the whole lot for £300, then it won't be much of a gaming machine.
