Hi Bradnick,
Do you realise that overclocking your processor invalidates the warranty on almost all of the components inside your PC? Overclocking is the process of making your PC run faster than the speed that the manufacturer decided it would be reliable at. Overclocking is not something we recommend or encourage.
The only two things required for overclocking are a processor with a decent fan and a decent motherboard. Overclocked processors run much hotter so, if you doubt the capacity of your fan, fit a better fan before you start. Overclocking can be done by altering the settings in your BIOS or by using the utility software that may have been provided by your motherboard manufacturer. Gigabyte motherboards come with a utility called EasyTune, which lets you overclock the PC through Windows, rather than having to go into the BIOS. It's very easy to use.
But, just in case you missed it, I'll repeat again that overclocking invalidates warranties and we don't encourage it!
Hope that helps

I should probably also clarify that, if you overclock too far, your PC might have some kind of internal melting or catching on fire issue and never switch back on again
