There is not much you can do with that. For the price of minimal upgrades you'd do better getting a new inexpensive machine.

The Pentium II could probably be upgraded to a P III but that won't change much.

XP should have at least 256MB RAM. You could add another 128 to your existing 128.

Also a larger hard drive but you probably are limited as to speed by the motherboard.

You need to verify compatibility very closely as old machines may not take new components.

Also you have no service packs. You absolutly need SP1 from Windows Updates. I'd suggest SP2 but your Hard Drive is barely large enough.

Thank you, that is what I wanted to know. But the computer already has Windows XP professional, corel house, Microsoft office professional(this came from an office), so I was amazed that they all run on here along with a few other really large files. The person I am giving this to takes alot of pictures. I have almost 3g left of a 6g, will this be okay for that purpose? Oh one more thing. I will go get the sp-1 but everything on here is working fine so I guess I don't understand what it does. I will go read and look again, it just not clear to me. Thank you again

SP1 is basically the first compilation of all the security flaws that were found in XP. If you are on-line without it your computer is fairly wide open to virus & or malwear infections.
If you have an anti-virus & firewall they will help but SP1 is not that large & plugs the basic leaks. If you choose to go without it I would recommend using Firfox rather than IE as your browser.

SP2 goes even further but it also uses a lot of disk space.
The 3g/6g will probably handle pics OK. You will not get much speed is all. The more you fill that hard drive the slower things will go. Upping the RAM to 256 would help as without it XP uses the hard drive for memory as well.
