do you know what speed your RAM is ?
your board will go up to 2GB of RAM
-
The Corsair site has a Configurator
http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair...or_search.html
Search by Motherboard or System Model
Motherboard | MSI | MS-6577
As brain_damage suggests matching speed is important. Also matching brands are preferable.
You can get detailed specs on your current RAM with this program:
http://www.sisoftware.net/
Mainboard Information

Hi, thanks for the replies.
I'll be going with the CORSAIR ones.
I've heard that if two RAM sticks in Dual Channel of different brands may not work propertly, is that correct?
Because what I want (if its possible) to keep my current 512 MB RAM and buy a 1 GB RAM so I can have 1 GB + 512 MB in my system. Am I going to have compatibility issues doing this?

Your best bet is to match the speed & the brand.
If different speeds the fastest will run at the slower level.
Mixing brands just creates possible conflicts.
The sisoftware scan will tell you your current brand & speed if you need it.
