    Motherboard/CPU

    im building a new computer at a website and the motherboard is a MSI K8M800 S754 800FSB PC3200 and the CPU is a Athlon64 3200 and I am wondering since the CPU has a 1600fsb and the motherboard has a 800FSB does that mean anything? like will it not work right or somtin? im completely a nub to computers

    AMD processors are different to Intel processors. The AMDs have a "multiplier" on the front side bus (FSB) speed that allows the processors to run at a higher FSB figure than the motherboard. Intel Pentium 4s, on the other hand, only clock up to 800MHz on their FSBs.
