Welcome to D-A-L!
What version of XP do you have? Home or Pro? SP1a or SP2?
The reason for the question is that SP2 can handle larger drives, SP1a has some problems.
Also, just a note, we do not support pirated software. It was good of you to buy the copy from PC world since MS will soon shut off all updates to none properly validate WIndows setups.

its service pack 2
and its windows xp home
a friend of mine had the same prob a few months, he had to take it to a repair shop,
after i format the hard drive, it then copys the files, but after thet it restarts the pc and now it says and error msg
it says : ntldr not found...
any ideas or do i have to take it to the pc shop?

have you fully formatted the hard drive with XP not just a quick format?
