    Increase Hard Drive Capacity

I have a Dell Inspiron 5100. I have recently joined the itunes revolution and have many music files stored on my PC. Each time I restart my PC I get a message saying that I am running out of disc space. I would like to increase or update my hard drive but am not at all sure how to go about this. Is there an external storage device I can attach to do this or do I have to replace the existiong hard drive. If so how do I do this and what is a good replacement?

You can use USB2 drives like the backpack or kangaroo drives. You can also buy a 2.5 or 3.5 inch drive and install it in a usb2 enclosure box. I have 4 drives in externals like this, 3 USB2 and 1 Firewire. The USBs are 20, 20, and 40, where as the Firewire is 200.

The Inspiron will handle the Firewire and USB2 enclosures without a problem. I would recoment Firewire per my experience its faster and causes less problems than the USBs.
