i have a P 1[pentium one] IBM laptop and it does not have a usb port and i wish to use one by using a card.

which usb card 1.1 or 2.0 would be compatible with it or both are compatible.

I think that you'll find that USB 1.1 and 2.0 will both work but only if your operating system supports USB. You may need to download a patch.

Are you using Windows 95 or 98 or Millennium (ME)? The exact version number would be helpful - to find that out, right-click on My Computer, go to Properties and tell us the number that it shows, e.g. "Windows 98 version 4.10.1998" or "Windows 95 version 4.00.95c".

Could you also tell us the exact model of your laptop?
