Need help choosing case fans...
ok, i really need to buy some case and cpu fans. i went to buy some from newegg but i am trying to figure out whats best for a good price. i need to know exactly what these are(RPM,CFM (Air-Flow),and dBA (Acoustic Noise).) so i can make a decision easier. i basically know what those are but i dont know what is the best type.
i would appreciate it if someone can help or direct me to a site that could help

Ball Bearing last longer, make more noise, have higher CFM
Sleeve Dont last as long, are quieter but do not have the CFM
RPM adds to noise, but you really are talking do you want a cool case versus a quiet case.

yea i want a cool case but not too loud. but my real question is, one newegg i have an option for example rpm (4000-4499 or 4500-4999, ect..) and cfm (1-110+) and dba (15-50), ya see. i really dont know what nubers are best for what i need or what is the standard. i dont want to pay extra for something i dont really need, ya know. i guess i should have been more specific.

For noise, the lower the DB the quieter.
For Cooling, the higher he CFM, the cooler.
So, an Ideal cooling fan would have 6000CFM with a DB of 15

iight thanx i really appreciate your help

On a more serious note, The lowest DB listed fan, with the highest CFM (Rotation really is not THAT big of a deal) is what you are looking for. THere are low RPM fans than can put out alot more CFM than a fan rotating at 6000RPM.
My server at home as an Attic cooling fan to clear the Case out (it puts out about 1000CFM and has a DB of about 100 but my case went from 100 degrees F to about 70!)
