    Connecting Secondary Master and Slave

ok i have a Asus A7N8X-X motherboard and i have just recently brought a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-109 and i would like to have this as my Master, and i also tryed to move my LITE-ON COMBO SOGC-5232K to be the Slave but when i boot up and have a look in my BIOS settings i get this Secondary Master - [@IDD] and then none of the drives work.

so does anyone know what i should do?

    1. Are the jumpers set correctly?

    2. Red edge of the ribbon cable next to power?

    3. Maybe try the Pioneer by itself?

Yes. They should look the same. The settings should be marked on the drive.
The DVD should be set to Master; the CDrom to slave; or both set to cable select
where the position on the cable will select.
