mobo suitable case

    mobo suitable case

    does any body know where i can find some information on the mobo below i am thinking of putting my pc in to a crylic clear case but i wondered if my mobo would supply more power for three or four more fans hopefully if i can get some details on the mobo i could locate some power take offs on the board unless any body knows different

    Board: NEC COMPUTERS INTERNATIONAL SiS651 1.0
    Bus Clock: 133 megahertz
    BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 2.0H 08/21/2002

    if any body has exsperience of this conversion i am all ears

    can anybody reccomend a suitable case for this mod

    Do you know exactly what make and model of PC the motherboard came from originally?

    Oh! A Packard Bell with an NEC motherboard?! Sorry, I assumed it wasn't that one that you were talking about.

    Have just thought about your original post again and, if I understand it right, you're looking for 3 or 4 fan connectors on the motherboard? I don't think you'll be that lucky Spud. You might find a couple. Do you know if there are any external fan connectors on that big hefty graphics card?

    Alternatively, if you can get fans that use the same connector as a hard disk / CDROM drive, then you can certainly get adapters that take one power lead and split it into two. You could put an adapter each available power lead (usually 4 or more) and have that many fans powered by them.
