Just a quick note........ When building a new PC please visit reviewing sites to find out the pro's & con's of each hardware component ! This is important !!!!!

Best way to build a comp? I like the "getting a friend to build it method". This way, if anything goes wrong you can blame him....hehehe.

Truthfully though, they all need the basic components, such as a tower, power supply, motherboard, CPU, RAM, hard drive, CD-Rom, and modem. A good place to start is to get a bare bones system from a company, such as Tiger Direct or even EBAY. Once you have the tower with the power supply, motherboard, and CPU, you can build from it based off the required specs for the motherboard.

Currently myself and another Head Tech are compiling a Complete guide to building a PC. This will be available from this site in a couple of weeks time

    i have done it

i bought a barebones off ebay - and i took all the stuff off my old hp pavilion, and put it on my barebones, and its gnarly now. its see through, and it has a twice as better processor

anways - my processor socket is a 370 pin, and i cant find any better processors than like 1.4 ghz. I want the highest that I could get - preferably in the 2-4ghz range. Is there any better processors out there for a socket 370, or is there like a converter?

    thanks
