LOL. Brilliant. I think I'll be using Grip-Fill rather than tape for the fan though

To be honest Spud, graphics cards aren't really my speciality - I still consider a "cheap graphics card" to be a little 4Mb PCI card! In fact, I've got a Geforce 4 MX 440 myself and it far exceeds what I use for.

At the end of the day, if you're playing lots of games, you probably want to make a choice between an nVidia Geforce chipset or an ATi Radeon chipset depending on which is supported the best by the games you expect to play over the next year or so or, at least, the current versions of them. Then have a look for cheap manufacturers (such as Sparkle, Pine, etc) that use those chipsets so you can save money over buying a "proper" nVidia or ATi card.

Check out the Beacomp web site (http://www.beacomp.com) to see if there's any computer trade fairs in your area soon. Failing that, you could always try Insight (www.insight.com/uk) for a card with a year's guarantee. QXL is fairly quiet at the moment so, if you can't find anything else there, you want want to browse through the dreaded Ebay (www.ebay.co.uk) for any good deals.
