I have an iphone 4 and I like it. i haven't actually tried other smart phones. As for the difference between an iphone and ipod? That depends upon the ipod. It isn't much different (except for specs) than an ipod touch but it is less like the other ones. It is more functional than the other ipods.

Except i know that in iphone we can call plus it has a better camera?

The iphone 4/4s has more memory than the 4th generation ipod touch. The 4s has a faster, dual core processor.
