i have been trying to connect my laptop to my TV for the past two days now...but my tv screen keeps saying no signal.
i have the lead between my laptop an tv connected. and my laptop even asks if i want a duplicate screen or single screen. and my laptop also changes resolution automatically. so when i choose that i want a duplicate screen...nothing happens....and my tv keeps being black and saying no signal...please help me....!

you data cable not correct attached or damaged.

i have had a similar problem with my desktop pc, when i connect to my tv via s-video.

I have to shut the computer down, then atach cables and then start up my computer.

check your data cable and connect it properly and restart your computer again.
