i want to use active sync to coneect my i-mate smartflip phone to my pc. i cannot connect it. i installed active sync, but whenever i connect my phone to pc, it is showing USB Device not recognized. i tried through the trouble shooting wizard but it didnt help. i have it on my lap top i.e. HP Compaq presario C765TU with windows XP Professional. what do i need to do, i want to update or install the necessary driver but i cant get it anywhere. i want to transfer my contacts and sms etc from my windows phone i-mate smartflip to my laptop so that i can re-transfer that information to another upgraded mobile. can u please suggest what step i can follow to solve my problem.
