I have been offered a pair of Mordaunt Short 302 speakers from my friend for £20.. Shall I buy?? I know this is cheapish, but are they good speakers??

it was a good offer
but they are just passive speakers, 8 ohms, so i'll just use em with an amp

off to RJF 2moz to buy some speaker wire for when they come

Well at least you know what you're buying Have fun setting them up when you get them.

Im just unhappy now cos in the west briton classifieds there are a pair of Tannoy speakers (tannoy being the king of speakers :P) for £25 :/
