I just reinstalled windows xp but know when i scroll up or down in Internet Explorer its skips frames and looks horrible . It doesn't scroll as fluidly as it used to . Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I'm having the same problem, not just on internet explorer, on everything.

I too, have only just installed windows xp after a C:/ format.

Its really anoying me as i have gone into system, and taken all the fancy bits off (like shadows under mouse pointer for example). and it still is jumpy.

It also jumps when i drag a window. Whats up with this ???

I had the same problem I reinstalled the current drivers for the graphics card and hey presto its now smoother than a smooth thing on planet smooth

Indeed. installing the latest video driver works well with computers from a particular manufacturer. Unfortunately, the same manufacturer's technical support seems unaware of this and suggested re-installing the operating system as a fix. NOT!
