Hi,

There some audio on the net that I have to hear. It's practice for a music exam, the thing is that the box on the web page with the play and stop buttons and that isn't working, I know somebody said his didn't work because of something to do with not having the right plug in, if anyone can help it'd be great.

Ok what version of windows media player do you have?
Also, check in control panel/internet options under advanced that you have play sounds/animations and videos checked

I've got Media player version 9.00.00.0375 apparently

and all the multimedia internet options are checked 'except don't display online media content in mdia bar' and 'show image download images'

Only other thing I can suggest is to try a browser like slimbrowser. It runs off IE and only a small download. Slimbrowser
Mine shows up stuff that IE doesnt. You could also update your java version.

I did try it with opera but I'll give it a go anyway. Is it working on your computer?

the slimbrowser didn't work...how would I go about updating my java browser

I've got it working now, I set quick time to open all associated files or something like that and it works fine, I guess it was some clash between that and Windows media player tring to open it.
