I know this is an extremely frustrating problem, and I beleive I can help you resolve it. It probably has to do with a file called "crzv.dll" which is located in your Windows root directory. It is a browser helper object and is hidden. You will need to change it's attributes and delete it. I also found two instances of this in my registry. I have not removed them and my Internet Explorer is working fine without prefacing a "www".

I owe my thanks to BHODemon which can be found and downloaded from

Good Luck, and post a reply if this works for you.
