    Question Any Ideas?

    Hey Everyone,

Does anyone have any idea what this does:

    http://media2.fastclick.net/w/safepo...152&pop=slider

From time to time I see it running in my toolbar at the bottom of my desktop, if I close it, then Internet Explorer refuses to open any page I want to visit informing me that the page is unavailable. I then have to re-boot my modem and router and computer before I can surf the net again.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers for your time

Clicked on your link but it just opened up a blank window and didn't load any content that I could see.

So, without seeing what you're talking about, it's hard to say. However, my first impression is that it sounds like Adware or some kind of web tracker.

If that sounds like what your problem might be, download and run Ad-aware 6.0. It's very good at getting rid of nasties like that.

Cheers for your reply DJ Nafey,

That was the problem I was having, the link was just blank, I have no idea what it was or why it was running on my computer.

I have Morpheus installed on my computer, maybe it's something related to that?

It could very well be something installed as a result of having Morpheus. Download Ad-Aware and that may be able to remove it for you.

    Thanx for the replies guys,

I think I know where the link/s are coming from. In the bottom right corner of Morpheus is where all the adverts etc... are displayed. The link/s that runs in my task bar are directly related to that. I have no idea why the link/s display themselves in my task bar, maybe some compatability problems with IE? Or why, when the link/s are closed, IE just displays "The page is unavailable message".

I'll keep investigating and post back if find some sort of solution.

    Cheers
