Ive recently had some phone calls from some non english people saying they are from Windows and that my P C is infected with a Trogan Horse.
They have directed me to my Event Viewer and they have asked me if there are any warnings and errors. when Ive said there are more than a dozen (there are loads) they have offered me a clean up service for a charge. Im sorry but while they may be genuine, I dont trust unsolicited calls.
Can anyone advise me as to what these Errors & Warnings are, could they be reports from my anti virus software (Norton 360) my Malware (Malwarebytes) or something far more sinister??
I try and keep my machine clean by staying of adult sites etc but I fear something may have got in and I'd rather get advice from a site I can trust than a voice out of nowhere.
