I have a linksys wireless-G broadband router 2.4 GHz with Speedbooster. I am only able to get 1mbps download speed and 1 mbps upload speed when I do a speed test. I am paying suddenlink for 10 mbps speed and not getting it. Sometimes if I disconnect the wireless router and go direct to the modem, I get 10 mbps (seldom), but most of the time it is still the 1 mbps or less. Any suggestions?

Upgrade to a wireless n router should fix your problem
