When I access any video site via Internet Explorer 9 e.g. You Tube, IMDB, I have no audio on the clips, this has only just started to happen, audio is fine on any files held on the PC music or video, not sure how to correct this.

Then you might want to consider rolling back to before it started with System Restore.

Have you done anything with Flash? If that is missing, or corrupt, you won't get some sounds. You might trying uninstalling Flash, then installing it again - Install Adobe Flash Player. Be sure to read the prompts before clicking so you don't install any unwanted toolbars or add-ins.

Major problems Digerati, please help, I tried system restore, it didn't work, got an error message saying it couldn't restore, then I noticed norton not showing correctly just a black screen, nothing to see, identitiy safe not working etc. Internet explorer keeeps freezing this is the 4th time I've had to type this message, I earlier tried to undo what system restore had occured if any and the message I got was that this was succesful but I still have problems, incidentslly I have tried to uninstall (to re-install) flash but the uninstaller kept freezing

ALSO bizarely every time I enter Norton into my explorer bar to try and get the the website to resolve I get as far as Nor then my internet freezes WHATS HAPPENING Digerati ?????

I don't know what is going on but I think we need to make sure your system is not infected. I realize this will not be easy, if IE keeps giving you problems but, please read this then start a new topic here.
