Hello, hope you can help.

A few days ago I had a "Bad Pool Caller" blue screen message since when I've had problems accessing web sites. Sometimes the sites partially open usually with pictures or graphics missing. The web sites eventually crash. There is also a message saying "This tab has been recovered - A problem with this web page caused Internet Explorer to close and re-open the tab".

Prior to the blue screen message I had downloaded a Google Earth update but not sure if this is significant. I'm Using IE8.

Not much to go on but maybe you could suggest how to resolve.

What version of Windows? The most common reason for IE problems is corrupt or conflicting add-ons. I would suggest reseting IE by going to Tools > Internet Options >Advanced, then click on Reset. This will remove all your add-ons and reset IE back to the original defaults. Then you can one at a time add them back in.

Thanks for that. Did what you suggested and although resetting IE did not initially completely cure the problem, internet seems to be working ok again.

Interesting. I wonder if it was a problem with your ISP then. At any rate, glad you are working now. Thanks for the followup.
