    Email problem

When my wife sends/forwards an Email (Orange Webmail) which contains graphic images or has an attachment, the recipient receives the text content of the Email correctly layed out but the image is missing. If there is an attachment, the recipient is usually unable to open the attachment. I have no problems with my account. Although both Orange, my Email address is fsnet.com but my wife's is fsmail.net. Any advice please?

    Hi Jim Welcome to D.A.L

You don't say what e-mail program you wife is using.
Is it Oranges own web based e-mail or is she using Outlook or Thunderbird?

For example in Outlook if you go Tools select options and then the security tab.
You will find the boxes Do not allow attachmenmts to be saved and Block Images and other external content in HTML e-mail ticked
These need to be unticked to send images and attachments.

I assume Orange may have similar options in the e-mail client

In my wife's account I did as you suggested (Outlook Express) and the boxes - 'Do not allow attachmenmts to be saved and Block Images and other external content in HTML e-mail' were indeed ticked. I unticked them, applied and OK'd then restarted the computer. I went back into her Email account, opened up a message with images in it and prepared to forward it to myself. I took a look at the message before sending it. The text was there but the images were no longer there.

Save 20% on AVG Internet Security 2012 Suite!
Again go to tools/options and the Read tab untick the box Read all messages in plain text
No go to Send Tab and and under Mail Sending Format select HTML
