HELP! computer problems+facebook
okay so idk why but my computer will not let me log on to facebook if i type in my stuff the page will freeze and id have to click the X button and when i do that a msg pops up asking to restart or cancel process or something
if i try logging into yahooanswers the same thing happens however after i restart i can just type in the url to yahooanswers and i log in as myself automatically
and if im on deviant art i have to right click and press open link to view a picture otherwise the whole freeze restart thing happens
and my computer shuts down and restarts itself every 30 min idk WHY! its aggravating
what can i do to fix these problems??? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi plur427 welcome to D.A.L
The shut down and restart could be caused by Software or hardware causing a system failure.
If you right click My Computer and select Properties.
Now select the Advanced tab. Under Startup and Recover select Settings.
Under System failure untick the box Automatically restart click OK
Now when the system failure occurs instead of restarting you should get
a BSOD (known in computer circles as a Blue Screen Of Death).

This Blues screen will have the error message we need to troubleshoot your problem.
Make a full note of the error message and post it here.
Once you have made a note of the error message press and hold (not to hard) on you PC start button.
This will turn off your PC. You can then restart it in the normal way.
If the BOSD does not occur please post back for further advice.
