Somehow old emails are being resent

I use Firefox and Windows Mail on a PC using Vista. I often send links to friends when I am on a web site that I feel may interest them.

Suddenly email links that I send over a month ago are being resent to the same people. I'm not initiating One of the receivers is my husband, so I know that he is receiving them a second time. They are usually a month or more old. Friends have also told me they are getting them a second time as well.

I feel this may be a browser issue because the emails only contain a link to a browser the page.

Anyone have an idea how I can prevent this from happening???

The emails that are going out are old and have been deleted from my Windows Mail. So I'm wondering if either the browser, Firefox, or WM saves a folder of internet links I send and somehow that is being resent.

I do have spy wear type programs and have run them. But I will read through the material in the link you provided.

    Thanks.

Firefox doesn't save links from emails that you send. When an email is deleted from wm it should be gone from your computer (provided you emptied the recycle bin) however it isn't necessarily gone from the server. I suspect that mailware is involved but I can't say that for sure. That why I recommended that you go there to work with the malware experts there. We don't support malware related posts anywhere else so if you want to go that route please don't post it here.
